Dimensioning an installation

Example of dimensioning compressed air installations Through the following pages, some normal calculations for dimensioning a compressed air installation will be demonstrated. The intention is to show how some of the formulas and data from previous chapters are used. The example is based on a desired compressed air equipment and result in dimensioned data, based on components that can be chosen for the compressed air installation. After the example, there are a few additions that show how special cases can be handled. This chapter contians of following items; 1. Input data 2. Component selection 3. Other diminsioning 4. Addition 1 - At high altitude 5. Addition 2 - Intermittent output 6. Addition 3 - Water borne energy recovery 7. Addition 4 - Pressure drop in the piping Please remember.
